About this piece
We built this red summer skort dress with a flowy babydoll drape over an integrated bodysuit liner. The under-shorts pull down independently so restroom breaks do not require undressing. Half-length flutter sleeves, a twist front, and a deep V-neckline finish the upper body.
How it is made
Quick Slip Lining
We set an inner bodysuit liner with shorts that pull down separately underneath the babydoll skirt. It gives you the look of a mini dress with the coverage of shorts during busy theme park days and travel.
Lightweight Rayon Blend
We cut this piece from a breezy rayon-blend cloth that breathes in the summer heat. The drape stays loose through the body while the deep V-neck and twist front add structure across the chest.
Functional Side Pockets
Two real pockets are stitched directly into the garment so you have a spot for your phone and keys. They sit flat beneath the flowy skirt without pulling the fabric out of shape.
Plus Pattern Sizing
We scale our 1X to fit a 44 to 46 inch natural bust across our 1X through 4X size range. Half flutter sleeves provide generous room through the upper arms without binding when you move.
