How this site pays for itself
When you follow a button here to our retail partner and buy something, they pay us a small commission on the sale. That is the whole of our income from these pages.
Your price is the same either way. The commission comes out of the partner’s margin, not out of what you hand over, and following a link from here never makes a piece cost more.
What the commission does not buy
It does not decide what goes in this catalogue, what order things appear in, or what the verdict on a piece says. Where wearers said a garment runs small, the page says it runs small, and it says so on the pieces that earn us the most as readily as on the ones that earn us nothing.
We have left unflattering comments in place on listings we would rather sell. A catalogue that only flatters is worth nothing to read.
Where you will see this
Every page that carries a buy button carries the same note underneath it. We would rather repeat ourselves than have it appear once in small print at the bottom of a page nobody scrolls to.
Who the partner is
A large online retailer that stocks the range. We do not run their storefront, we do not set their prices and we do not handle their orders. Everything after the button is theirs.
