About this piece
A long walk down the boardwalk calls for real coverage and quick-drying cloth. We cut this hooded tunic from breathable UPF 50 fabric with a generous pull-on fit and long sleeves. A smooth half-zip neck lets you adjust the collar as the breeze shifts off the water.
How it is made
UPF 50 Fabric
We chose a lightweight, quick-dry fabric woven to UPF 50. It dries fast after a swim, breathes well on warm afternoons, and stands up to sun, salt, and pool water.
Half-Zip and Hood
The neckline features a sturdy front half-zip that pulls down easily when you want extra air. We added a full hood to give you extra cloth around the neck and head.
Two Front Pockets
We built two open pockets right into the front body of the dress. They are deep enough to hold keys, sunscreen, or a phone while you move from the sand to the snack bar.
Plus Size Fit
We cut this tunic on a dedicated plus pattern across sizes 1X through 4X. The pull-on shape leaves room through the chest and waist so it slips easily over a damp swimsuit.
