About this piece

Shining under stage lights or in the backyard, this pleated gold skort catches the eye with a bright holographic finish. We cut it in a flared A-line shape that spins wide and add stretchy bike-style shorts underneath so dancers can cartwheel, jump, and leap without hesitation.

How it is made

Gold Holographic Fabric

We choose a high-shine metallic material that reflects light with every turn. The surface catches a rainbow sheen while the smooth reverse sits softly against tights or bare legs through recitals and dress-up games.

Hidden Undershorts

Beneath the pleated circle skirt, we sew an inner pair of elastic shorts. They provide full coverage through high kicks, splits, and cartwheels on stage, on the cheer mat, or on the playground.

Stretchy Banded Waist

We use a wide pull-on elastic waistband that sits flat at the natural waistline. It pulls on over leotards without tricky buttons, snaps, or zips, making quick costume changes between numbers fast and simple.

Classic A-Line Cut

The circular flare gives this skort its full skater silhouette and clean pleats. It drapes away from the hips to allow a complete range of motion for gymnastics routines, dance rehearsals, and everyday play.
