About this piece
We designed this active swim skirt to move straight from the water to a bike ride or a walk into town. The quick-dry fabric handles chlorine without fading, while a pair of built-in athletic shorts gives full coverage underneath. We finish the waist with a simple elastic band that pulls on smoothly without zips or buttons.
How it is made
Built In Inner Short
Under the skirt we set athletic shorts with a 5.5 inch inseam. They stay in place while you walk, swim, or bike, keeping you comfortable without bunching up under the outer shell.
Chlorine Resistant Cloth
We chose a lightweight, quick-dry fabric that resists chlorine and wrinkles. It dries fast after a dip in the pool and packs flat in a suitcase for trips to the beach.
Functional Side Pockets
We built deep pockets right into the sides of the inner shorts. They hold a phone, room key, or small essentials securely while you stay active on land or by the water.
Curved Scallop Hem
The outer skirt features a tulip crossover hem with a scalloped edge. It gives your legs full freedom of movement for tennis, running, or swimming without pulling at the seams.
