About this piece

Pack light for the coast with a two-in-one layer cut from slinky, breathable stretch jersey. We built this orchid cover-up with a ruched V-waist and an integrated tie that converts the long skirt into a halter dress. It pulls on over a swimsuit without buttons or zips.

How it is made

Convertible Halter Tie

We stitch a long drawstring into the ruched waist so you can wear this piece two ways. Tie the cord behind your neck as a halter dress or tuck it at the front to wear it as a flowing maxi skirt.

Breathable Stretch Jersey

We use a lightweight, moisture wicking jersey that stretches easily over swimwear. The semi-sheer knit packs down flat in a tote bag and lets the breeze through on hot afternoons by the water.

Ruched Pull-On Waist

We shaped the waistband with soft ruching and a flexible elastic band. It pulls on over wet bathing suits without zips, hooks, or buttons, sitting high on the waist as a skirt or across the bust as a dress.

Straight and Plus Sizing

We grade this maxi cut across sizes Small to XX-Large from a consistent pattern. The hem falls long through the body, fitting natural waist measurements from 26 inches up to 36 inches.
