About this piece

Hot afternoons call for bare shoulders and breathable fabric. We cut this open-back halter top from lightweight stretch jersey and added soft ruching along both side seams. A built-in shelf bra with removable cups gives you the coverage you want without the extra straps.

How it is made

Built-in Shelf Bra

We built an inner shelf bra directly into the bodice to keep layers to a minimum. It features removable lightly padded cups for smooth shape and light everyday support.

V-Notch Halter Cut

The neckline ties neatly behind the neck and features a small decorative V-notch at the center bust. The open back keeps you cool when the temperature climbs.

Ruched Side Seams

We gathered the fabric along both sides to create soft horizontal folds across the front. The stretch knit pulls close to the torso while staying comfortable throughout the day.

Lightweight Stretch Knit

We chose a breathable, lightweight knit with added elastane so the top moves easily with you. The fabric stays soft against the skin through warm outings and weekend brunches.
