About this piece

Wet pavement and steady drizzle do not have to cut the evening walk short. We sew this dog raincoat from water-resistant polyester in a bold Baja stripe print, complete with a hood and a slit for leash clips. It slips over the head and fastens beneath the belly in seconds.

How it is made

Water Resistant Polyester

We use a lightweight 100 percent polyester shell finished with a water-resistant coating. It sheds rain and puddle splashes, keeping your dog dry without adding heavy bulk on warm, damp afternoons.

Built In Harness Slit

We cut a dedicated leash opening along the back seam. You can slip the coat right over an existing harness and clip your lead through the fabric without bunching the collar.

Adjustable Belly Strap

We add a wide, adjustable belly band that fastens securely underneath. It keeps the jacket from twisting in the wind while accommodating deep chests and slender waists across the size run.

Night Visibility Striping

We trim the coat with high-visibility reflective material. The bright stripes catch streetlights and car beams on dark sidewalks, early morning outings, or dreary winter walks.
