About this piece
Wet grass and morning drizzle do not have to cut your walk short. We make this dog poncho from lightweight water-repellent polyester printed with sailor ducks, then add reflective details for dark sidewalks. A clear hood visor shields rain from your dog's eyes without blocking the view ahead.
How it is made
Clear Hood Visor
We build the hood with a transparent front panel that extends forward over the brow. It shields falling rain and wet wind while leaving your dog with an unobstructed view of the path.
Water Repellent Fabric
The body is cut from 100 percent polyester treated with a water-repellent finish. We add reflective material to the coat so your dog stays visible on foggy mornings and dark evening neighborhood loops.
Built-In Harness Slot
We stitch a dedicated opening along the back seam just behind the hood. You can clip a leash directly to a harness underneath without having to adjust or remove the jacket during your walk.
Adjustable Belly Closure
A wide strap wraps underneath the body to secure the coat in place. We cut this pattern in six sizes, from small at 12 inches to three-XL at 26 inches along the back.
